Opportunity Overview
Meltwater Group is seeking a seasoned communications professional to build our global brand. As a Senior Communications Director based out of San Francisco, CA, you will have the opportunity to create a communications strategy for our organization, brand the company, implement global policies and procedures, and act as the face of the Meltwater Group to the public.
As a member of our executive management team, you will direct our messaging and positioning in order to continue our success as a leader in the Software as a Service (SaaS) market. What to Expect
As our Senior Communications Director, you will lead and manage our international communications efforts and create a presence for Meltwater Group in the media and as an employer brand. Your success building out a company's communications department - including setting up procedures, creating public relations strategies, working as part of the senior management team, and managing a communications group - are all essential to hit the ground running.
Proven writing skills will enable you to draft and manage press releases and other critical communications documents. You will also oversee our University Relations department, which, under your direction, will expand Meltwater's image and brand to university graduates around the world. Experience within the technology industry will allow you to understand current trends in the market and channel our messaging and communications efforts accordingly.
We value global expertise as you will be managing our international media initiatives and overseeing a team based in San Francisco and in other key markets. This role will likely require national and international travel at least once per month.
